Prerequisite: Prerequisite: MATH 001 AND MATH 000D, or MATH 002. Honors Calculus and Analytic Geometry uses the pedagogical methods common to all honors courses: interdisciplinary, writing-intensive, collaborative, and experiential instruction. This is a first course in differential and integral calculus of a single variable. Topics include: functions, limits and continuity, techniques and applications of differentiation and integration, Fundamental Theorem of Calculus. It is designed primarily for Science, Technology, Engineering & Math Majors. Honors work emphasizes a deeper study of differential calculus via the study of proofs using analytic techniques, real-world problems, and special applied projects.(MATH 001, MATH 000D, MATH 002)
